Your use of the information and tools provided on this site, including the online deed preparation service and documents generated by the online deed preparation service (collectively, this “site”), is governed by these Terms of Use. By using this site, you are agreeing to each of the terms described in these Terms of Use.
No Attorney-Client Relationship
This site does not and cannot create an attorney-client relationship with Trusted Deeds LLC or any law firm or any attorney. Although you may select our Attorney Plan to get legal assistance, simply using this site is not sufficient to do so. Instead, an attorney must agree to represent you in writing in accordance with the section below entitled Legal Representation. Your use of this site does not include any legal advice, explanation, opinion, or recommendation about your possible legal rights, remedies, defenses, options, selection of forms, or legal strategies.
No Tax Advice
The information contained in this site does not constitute tax advice. Any discussion of tax matters contained in this site is not intended or written to be used, and cannot be used, for the purpose of avoiding penalties under the Internal Revenue Code or promoting, marketing or recommending to another party any transaction or matter.
Do It Yourself Plan
If you select our Do It Yourself Plan, we will not provide any service other than access to our drafting software, which you may use at your own risk. You are representing yourself in any legal matter you undertake through our site.
Our Do It Yourself Plan is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney. If you select our Do It Yourself Plan, we will not provide any legal advice, and your communications with us are not protected by the attorney-client privilege or work product doctrine.
Document Assistant Plan
Our Document Assistant Plan includes a review of your answers for completeness, spelling and grammar, as well as internal consistency of names, addresses and the like. Your Document Assistant will not review your answers for legal sufficiency, draw legal conclusions, provide legal advice or apply the law to the facts of your particular situation.
Our Document Assistants are not attorneys and are not acting as your attorney. Our Document Assistant services are not a substitute for the advice of an attorney. If you select our Document Assistant Plan, we will not provide any legal advice, and your communications with us are not protected by the attorney-client privilege or work product doctrine.
Legal Representation
If you select our Attorney Plan, if offered, the information that you submit in the interview will be forwarded to an attorney. Unless that attorney agrees in writing to represent you, your submission of this information does not create an attorney-client relationship. Although it would be very unusual to decline representation, we must preserve the right to do so. The attorney may choose—for any reason or for no reason—to decline to represent you. If you have paid for the Attorney Plan and the attorney declines to represent you, your payment will be refunded.
